Line Break centers on works surrounding the literary arts. Be it prose, poetry, flash fiction, articles — anything creative and strong goes. We publish work from the youth, especially teenagers from diverse backgrounds.


You may submit poetry, prose, articles, epistolaries, anything goes.

Please submit your pieces to
Subject: Submission: YourName, Title of Piece
(eg: Submission: Keith Leonardo, 3 Poems on Dictionaries)

Alternatively, you may submit with our Google Form.

You may opt to include a short cover letter and/or biography with the submission. Works may be included in the body of the email or as an attached .pdf or .docx.

We will guide you through the submission process; this may involve editing your work and helping you improve it to the best it can be before it goes online on any of our accounts. If your piece is fine as it is, we will contact you regarding the next steps.

You may always submit anonymously or under an alias.
We accept simultaneous submissions, but we would like to request that if your work is first accepted in Line Break and republished elsewhere – to acknowledge Line Break as the original publishing journal.
