Cautionary Tale

Cautionary Tale
by Saquina Karla C. Guiam

            Be afraid—
            against the glass
            an unwanted stranger
explodes
and illuminates
storm clouds,
            makes
            hands
            real.

The fears
            wait
‘til your eyes close.
